The Pangburn Letters
This Transcription Project is dedicated to the memory of the creator and editor of the Pangburn Letter, Donn E. Wagner
Read the Dedication
It is our desire to carry on the spirit and the work of Donn E. Wagner - producing a family history exchange and forum for everyone to explore, without cost, their Pangburn/Pangborn/Pangman connections. Edward MacLeod made this project possible by providing copies of the original Pangburn Letter. Thank you, Edward!
After all of these Letters have been transcribed and posted, I will accept further postings, and in that manner carry on the Letter for those researching their Pangburn and related heritage. These letters are not primary sources and some of the information submitted may be incorrect .
These Letters are for your Personal use, only. No Commercial use is authorized other than that approved by the Estate of The late Donn E. Wagner.
Note: Posting these letters will be a major task. There are about 32 of them, 8 to 14 pages each. I will convert each one to text so they can be searched. So check back often. If you would like to volunteer to transcribe a letter ( type into a word document or convert with a OCR program like OMNI page ) your help is more than welcome! I can send you a few pages at a time via e-mail.
The Guest Book Archives ( For your Pangburn , Pangborn ,..... Queries , Post them first in the guest book and they will be added to the archive so they are never lost . Please let me know if I can post your email address along with it )

Thank you all for your unselfish contributions !
But I would love to add your name here as well ! How about a little help ?? This Project is not complete , though all the letters are available , they are not all searchable . But perhaps this is for the best , if you want to find your ancestor you must read about the other Pangburn's , and in doing so learn much more about them .
Happy Hunting !

The pages below are images of the letters
The images below are so large that they would take considerable time for a person with , say a dial up server to open , it is for this reason I have split them into several pages . A few of the pages are missing small corners . That is however, how I received them and I do not have a copy showing all the missing text . Though this transcription project is not complete , I have done more than my share as a Pollard , So should any of you Pangburn's like to see the completion of this project feel free to transcribe a page and send it to me for posting .
