STRINGTOWN CEMETERY, NEWTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS

This cemetery is located at the old Stringtown School House on the
North side of Little Buffalo River in Section 17, Township 16North,
Range 20 West
There are several people buried here but the stones have been
broken and lost. Cattle and hogs have been in this area and tromped
over the graves and rooted out stones. What a shame.
In some cases there is no date on the stones and I have added the
birthdates from the census; if so, have put the dates in parenthesis.
Marriages are in Newton County, Arkansas; if otherwise, so noted
