Patrick GOVAN born abt. 1676 in Kidstown, Peebles, Scotland.  He married Lillias NOTTMAN (She was Chr. April 16, 1676 in Manor, Peebles, Scotland.  Her parents were James NOTTMAN and Janet BAIRD) on June 20, 1704 in Manor, Peebles, Scotland.

Patrick GOVAN and Lillias NOTTMAN had the following children:

Son, James GOVAN Chr. on June 14, 1702 in Peebles, Peebles, Scotland.

Daughter, Janet GOVAN Chr. December 12, 1703 in Peebles, Peebles, Scotland.

Daughter, Helen GOVAN Chr. September 3, 1707 in Peebles, Peebles, Scotland.

Son, John GOVAN Chr. June 2, 1709 in Peebles, Peebles, Scotland.  He married Janet SMEAL or SMAIL on June 3, 1736.

Son, Ganen GOVAN Chr. March 28, 1711 in Peebles, Peebles, Scotland.

Daughter, Lillias GOVAN Chr. August 14, 1713 in Peebles, Peebles, Scotland.   She married John BALLANTYNE on February 21, 1734.
