Charles or Charlie STARK born abt. 1906

Jean Fillans Steele LEAKE (grandpa George Edward Stark's cousin)
Gave me the following information about the STARK family:

Before 1910-

The family lived in a small log cabin in a place called STARK's meadow.
Margaret STARK (Jean called her Aunt Meg) got divorced from George E. STARK. He died a couple of years later. (She mentioned that she thought he drank himself to death)

Eugenie or Eugenia STARK died some time before 1910 of Bright's Disease.  (kidney disease)

Meg couldn't take care of all of the children. She had to send some of the children to an orphan's home in Baltimore, Maryland. The oldest daughter, Lily, and her mother moved to a place called Koontz barricks (a place where coal miners stayed) The rest of the children (George, Annie May, and Charlie) went to the home. When the family went to get the children back, they were told that Charlie had passed away. His uncle Claude didn't believe them and tried to find death records or some proof that he had died but he could not find any records. Claude believed that Charlie was adopted out and the people at the home didn't tell the family about it.

I believe that before 1910 Margaret STARK went to live with her parents and brothers along with her daughter Lily. ( Found this information in the 1910 census for Lonaconing, Maryland in Allegany County.)
