Methodist Chruch for Mrs Ruth Moore 42 of
1011 Burke who died at her home yesterday.
Rev. C. C. Lakey will officiate.
Mrs. Moore was born at Fontaine andhad lived
in Joneseboro and Fontaine areas all her life.
Survivors include her Husband Joe Moore,
three sisters, Mrs. Lena Bass, Mrs Ella Lee,
both of Fontaine, and Mrs. Bessie Sandifur of
Campell, Mo. and two brothers. Elmer Songer
of St Louis and Thomas Songer of South San
Francisco Calif.
Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery with Emerson
and Sons Funeral Home in charge.

E.R.Davis Succumbs After Five Days Illness
E.R. Davis passed away yesterday afternoon at his residence,
234 Chelsea Avenue, following an illness of five days.
He was 77 years old and a native of Kentucky
About 45 years ago Mr. Davis moved to Memphis and soon there after he married
Miss Mary T. Jones of Missouri.
He is survived by his widow, one son, C. W. Davis
and Four Daughters:
Mrs. A.W. Davis, Mrs. W.G. Jackson, Mrs. R.G. Luster of Memphis TN.
And Mrs. C.M. Sowers of Wichita Kansas
Funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Ralph Roberts
and will be held from the residence of his daughter,
222 Chelsea Avenue, this afternoon at 3 O'clock
and interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery

Servives for Jewel Robert "Joe" Davis, 59 of Jay,
were held Friday June 22, 1985 at Worley Funeral Home
in Grove. Minister Ken Siemems officiated.
Davis died Wednesday, June 20, at Grove Genral Hospital.
He was born Feb. 14 1925, in Clay Co. Ark. He married
Lela Geraldine Samons on June 28, 1949 at Pocahontas Ark.
The couple moved to the Jay Grove area five years ago
Surviving in sddition to his wife are
Two sons: Jerry Hodges of Grove and Rober (Bob) Davis of Kentucky
Six Daughters: Janice Doye, Kathy (Cathey) Moore, Anita Barnes, all of Grove
Barbara Clutts of Peoria IL. Emma Parsons of Goshan IN. and
Leona Ashlock of Kan. a sister
Myrtle Dibble of MI. and a brother Willie Myers of Berwick IL.
Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren

who died in a Nov. 28 house fire were held Saturday,
Dec.1 at Hickory Grove Cemetery.

Samantha Joe Moore 13, and her brother Ronnie Joe (R.J.) Moore Jr. 7
died at their home west of Grove
Samantha was born Nov. 27, 1971 in Rockford IL.
She was a seventh grader at the Grove Middle School
and was a member of the Grove Middle School Band
She attended the Independent Baptist Church of Grove
Ronnie Joe was born April 15, 1977 in Grove. He was a first grader
at T.J. Melton Elementry School.

Elvis Andrew Moore a lifetime resident of Bono, departed
This life Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005 at St. Bernard's Regional
Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 81 years 8 months and 29 days.
He was born in Fontaine, the son of Tom (T.P.) and Mollie Madge (Daisy)
(Bramlet) Moore. He was united in mariage to Edna Erlene Songer, on
November 8 , 1943 in Sedgwick. He was a retried machine operator of over
30 years for A & P Coop of Jonesboro and a member of the Jesus Name
Pentecostal Church of Hoxie.

Survivors include his wife of the home, two sons and daughters-in-law, of Bono and
from Walnut Ridge.two daughters and sons-in-laws, from Boonville MS. and  Lake City
nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild and other relatives and friends mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers Roy, Henry, Harrison, Clyde, Johnny Hubert,
and Clyde Moore. and one sister Christine Moore (Songer).


The service was officiated by: Rev. Danny Murphy and Bro. Van Gilbert
Services were heald by Higginbotham Funeral Service Inc. in Walnut Ridge Ar.
Interment was in Lorado Cemetery , Lorado Arkansas.

Edward Howard Sr. of Huntsville died Saturday in
Jackson County. He was 57.
Mr. Howard a native of  Kennett Mo. was a HVAC
plumbing supervisor with Huntsville City School System
and a resident of Madison County for the past 25 years.
He was a member of the Solar Masonic Lodge, No. 914
and was a 32nd Degree Mason.

Arrangements are being handled by Spry Funeral Home
of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends from
   5 to 6 p.m. today. Funeral services will be at Spry Funeral
Home Chapel at 3 p.m. Tuesday with full Masonic Rites.
Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations
be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
