Bob Nelson's West Jersey Genealogy News.

Here's whats new with this update:

All names and birth/marriage/death/butial dates and locations from Josiah Shinn's 1903 book have been entered and connected to other lines in the database. Inconsistancies between this book and other references have been researched and documented.

I have found a new connection to Middleton ancestors. Thus, I will be adding a line of Middletons to this database. An interesting aspect of this line is that it ties into the roayal houses of Europe. I have included a portion of the connections from this line back to Charlemagne. Be aware that there are many more extensive royal genealogy sites available.

My mom, Maxine Ruth Bryde Nelson, passed away this summer. She was a most remarkable woman in her capacity to love, teach, and live life fully while serving God, her family, and others. In some ways I miss her terribly and in some ways she will always be with me. The difficulty of this experience added an entirely new perspective to the process of entering these names and dates. Each of the families listed here worked, played, loved, grieved, laughed, and cried together. Our research should be, at least in part, a way of honoring and memorializing these lives.
