There was a son born about 1818 in North Carolina. He is
registered in the 1830 and 1840 census with this family but is not
found in the 1850. At that time most of the family was in Dallas
County, but he was not. W. D. did not come until 1855 and we do
not know where this man was at the time. The 1850 census of Tenn.
has been searched and the only Sweaney remaining in Lawrence Co. was
W. D. and there was no one of that age in the rest of the state
except another William.
