The first child of William A. Sweaney and Elizabeth Emily was
born in Lawrence Co., TN. in 1839. The family moved to Missouri when
she was about 14 years old. By the 1860 census she is no longer listed
with the family so was probably married by then. The marriage records
of Dallas Co. were destroyed during the Civil War so likely there is
no existing record. She is not mentioned in her father's intestate
probate record. She is not listed in the 1860 Census of Dallas Co. as
a spouse unless using another name.
