The second child of William A. and Elizabeth Emily Sweaney was
born ca 1841 in Lawrence Co., TN. He was about 12 years old when his
family moved to Dallas Co., MO. He was a resident of Dallas Co. most
of his life. In the 1880 census he is living with his mother, bro.,
and sister, Elizabeth in Benton Twp.
In 1900 he was appointed administrator of the estates of
his father, William A. and his brother, Malichi. Malichi had died in
1883 and William in 1887.
