The second child of James C. and Margaret A. (Hays) was born
6 Jan 1856 in Dallas Co., MO. (from tombstone; however, the census
places is birth in 1849. He was one year old in 1850)
He married Belinda Bernice Babb 9 July 1876 in Dallas County, MO
(Book B). (She was born 15 Nov 1856). By 1880 they had three
children: Doria age 3 and a pair of twins, Evy and Effie age 1. They
also had their uncle Andy (Andrew 4-6) living with them. They were
living closeby Isaac's father, perhaps the same dwelling.
The 1900 census shows him living in Jasper Twp., and
widowed. The Cemetery reading is probably in error having given
her death date at 1938. In 1900 Jeremiah and James are living
with him.
Isaac died 25 Aug 1938. Hobart Sweaney was appointed
adminstrator of the estate.
