EMICK REIER} IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN.
Dec'd } I Emig Reier of Cocalico Township being weak and sick of Body but of
sound memory and understanding having taken in consideration the uncer-
tainty of my Life do hereby make this as my last will and Testament in manner following Impr(__?) I give
and bequeath unto my beloved wife Catharina the sum of one hundred Pounds Lawful money of Pennsylvania to her use
and immediately after my decease twenty five Pounds shall be grant to her and then the three following years each
year Twenty Pounds and the fourth or last year fifteen pounds and all which remains after her death shall be equally di-
vided amongst my heirs and without that she shall have no right to my Estate and further I give and bequeath unto
her my dwelling House that she may live in it during her life and likewise all which I bequeath unto her in that
agreement- shall be given to her during her life Item I give and bequeath unto my eldest son Philip the sum of Ten
shillings and that he shall have no further right to my Estate he having his share already Item I give and be-
queath unto my son Christopher the sum of five shillings and that he shall have no further Right to my Estate

he having his share already Item I give and bequeath unto my Son Peter the sum of Five Shillings and that he shall have no further right
to my estate he having his share already Item I give and bequeath unto my Son John the sum of five shillings he having his share
already out of my estate Item I give and bequeath unto my Son Daniel the sum of Five Shillings he having his share already
out of my Estate Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth the sum of one hundred Pounds money as her full share and
then she shall have no further right to my Estate Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Catharina the sum of Two hundred
pounds Money as her full share and then she shall have no further right to my estate which said sum shall be paid to her as my Ex-
ecutors receive the same And further it is my will that my wife shall have my household goods during her life and after her decease the
same shall be divided amongst my heirs in equal shares And further I give and bequeath five pounds to the Poor
and further it is
my will that my Son Peter shall not be(forest?) or to go on against him by force if he could not pay the money due in the first
Bond on the time therein mentioned and if he could pay the same on the said time then it shall stand a year longer without interest
and the same way it shall be with all bonds wherein he is indebted to me And lastly I nominate make and appoint my trusty
friends John Landis Henry Mohler and my Son John as executors of this my last will and Testament In witness whereof I have
hereto set my hand and seal the eighth 27th day of March A Dom 1769

Signed sealed and acknowledged by the Testator as his last will and Testament in the presence
of us the subscribing witnesses who saw him sign and seal it Emig Reier SEAL

And further it is my will that my daughter Elizabeth shall have fifty pounds on the first day of May 1770 abd the other
or last fifty pounds in the year 1772

Lancaster County ~ On the twenty ninth day of April Anno Domini 1769 Before one of the subscribers Personally appeared the
within named Martin Mayer and Daniel Bollinger the two subscribing witnesses to the within will and Codicil and on their
solemn affirmation according to Law did declare and say that they were present and saw and heard Emick Rerir the Testator
within named sign seal publish pronounce and declare the within writing as and for his last will and Testament and that they
also saw and heard the one Emick Reyer sign seal publish pronounce and declare the written writing as a codicil to his last
will and Testament and that at the doing thereof at the several times he was of sound and well disposing mind memory and
understanding to the best of their knowledge observation and being Edwd Shippen D. R.
BE IT REMEMBERED that on the twenty second day of April Anno Domini 1769 the Last Will and Testament of Emick Reier
deceased was proved in due form of Law and letters Testamentary thereon were granted to John Landis Henry Moller and
John Reier the Executors therein named they being first duly qualified well and truly to administer the Estate of the said
deceased
and to Exhibit a true and perfect Inventory thereof into the Registers Office at Lancaster on or before the twenty ninth day of May next
and to remitt(?) a true and just account of their administration on the said Estate when thereto lawfully required Given under the
seal of the said office of same Edwd Shippen D. R.
