The information given here is incomplete and (to some degree) unreliable!

"Incomplete" not only in that I don't have complete information, but also in that I have information not shown here. For example, I have omitted people not known to be dead from these pages for reasons of privacy, with the sole exception of Gerald R. Ford (whose information is public knowledge anyway).

"Unreliable" in that much of the information here has not been adequately verified. For example, much of what is shown here comes from several genealogies from the turn of the century whose authors gave little or no information about their sources. I consider all such data unreliable unless verified from primary sources. (So why do I present it here? Because unreliable information, properly handled, is better than no information at all; and because maybe you can help me verify it -- or refute it.)

Moral to the story: Don't rely on these pages as a source of genealogical information. They are intended mainly to help you find out if you share ancestors with me. If you do, or you think you do, please get in touch!
