See Alexander
Cemetery at Find-A-Grave. Headstone photo pages are now all at Find-A-Grave.
Alexander Cemetery is located East of Carterville.
Jackson Township
Map shows the location of the cemetery. Take 71 to the
Carterville/HH exit. Take HH East to a sign that points to the south
and says Indian Springs, I believe this is County Lane 183. Take this
road south about half mile. The cemetery is located on the east side
of the road. A new house has been built in front of the
entrance to
the cemetery. There is a private road running along the South side of
the cemetery. This cemetery is in bad shape. The blackberry bushes
have completely taken over the front portion of the cemetery.
Cleanup has begun! I didn't want to renumber the cemetery completely,
so you will notice on the map that the numbers are no longer always
sequential.

This stone I found while going out to retake some pictures. It is located on the North side and is about halfway to the back of the cemetery. It is beside a fallen tree and was hard to find.
