Georgia City Cemetery, is in very nice shape. While talking to the gentleman who owns the property he told me that a boy scout originally cleaned the cemetery for his eagle scout project. The boy scout troop came out and completely cleaned it, and since the owner of the property and the great-grandsons of a neighbor come and keep the cemetery up. They have fixed several of the stones (they were very careful, most of the cracks have been fixed so that you can still read through them!). Someone has also had a very nice wrought iron gate made and set up at the front of the cemetery which says "Georgia City Cemetery." I went out on December 9, 2000 and began working from the front to the back (West to East).
