Daughter of James and Martha [Wood] Stanclift born East Middletown, Hartford County, CT Feb. 6, 1740(1) baptized East Middletown, CT Feb. 1, 1741(2), died Millington, CT Nov. 17, 1813, married in East Haddam, CT May 7, 1766(3) TIMOTHY3 BOOGE (William2, John1) son of William and Dorothy [Lord] Booge baptized Colchester, CT May 19, 1734, died Millington, CT Jan. 1, 1805 � 71.

Rebeckah evidently remained in Middletown when her father and second wife, Mary [Lewis] Stanclift, moved to Simsbury in 1756 as she was termed "of Middletown"at the time of her marriage. On Aug. 24, 1766 she transferred her membership from the 6th Church in Middletown to the East Haddam Church in Millington, CT.

In accordance with the entailment placed on the gift of land given to Martha [Wood] Stanclift by her father, John Wood in 1737, Timothy, "Rebecca" and John Booge all of East Haddam, sold Rebekah's 1/5 interest in her Grandfather's land to Abraham Bailey of Chatham, on May 6, 1794(4)

An unnamed son of Timothy died in Millington in 1789.

1. SARAH BROOKS BOOGE baptized East Haddam, CT Nov. 16, 1768.

2. WILLIAM BOOGE born East Haddam, CT Dec. 29, 1769, baptized Mar. 18, 1770.

3. JOHN BOOGE born East Haddam, CT June 22, 1772.

4. THOMAS MURPHY BOOGE born East Haddam, CT June 19, 1775, baptized July 30, 1775. He was named after the husband of Rebeckah's younger sister, Lydia [Stancliff] Taylor Murphy.

5. AMOS BOOGE born East Haddam, CT Mar. 23, 1778.

6. REBECCA BOOGE born East Haddam, CT Feb. 21, 1782, baptized in Apr. 1782, died Millington, CT at the poor house Jan. 19, 1829. She had never married.
