Daughter of Hiram and Sarah [Ward] Stanclift born Feb. 17, 1853, died Salem, Polk County, OR Feb. 16, 1940, buried Cemetery at Dallas, Polk County, OR, married Brookfield, Linn County, MO Jan. 1, 1878 ORVILLE LUMAN FRANCIS born Hinsdale, Cheshire County, NH July 19. 1853 died Metzger, Washington County, OR Mar. 17, 1916. After Hiram's death the family rented the farm in Brookfield, MO to Orville Francis and he came to live at their house. He and Emeline married and in 1880 they were living on the farm at Brookfield, Linn County, MO with Emma's family(1). Shortly after this date they moved to Sheridan, CA to join the members of the family who had already "gone west". Sometime after 1888 they moved finally to Hood River, OR.

2. GRACE EMELINE FRANCIS born Sheridan, Placer County, CA Aug. 30, 1881, Portland, Multnomah County, OR, Jul. 23, 1901, buried Dallas, OR.
3. SADIE MAY FRANCIS born Sheridan, Placer County, CA May 5, 1883, died Merced, Merced County, CA Oct. 6, 1956, buried Belcrest Cemetery, Salem, Marion and Polk County, OR, married Salem, OR Feb. 26, 1908 WILLIAM HENRY NEY born Moweaqua, Shelby County, IL Feb. 26, 1892, died Salem, OR Oct. 7, 1942, buried Belcrest Cemetery, Salem, OR. Her daughter Helen Elaine Ney married Paul W. Stanclift.
4. JOSEPH FRANCIS born Sheridan, Placer County Oct. 12, 1887, died there Dec. 5, 1888, buried Stanclift family plot in Sheridan Cemetery.
5. FRANK STANCLIFT FRANCIS born Sheridan, Placer County, CA Nov. 14, 1888, died Olympia, Thurston County, WA Jan. 16, 1950, married Walla Walla, Walla Walla County, WA Jun. 14, 1918 CLARA SCHNASSE born NE Jan. 10, 1885, died Olympia, Thurston County, WA Oct. 28, 1960.
