Daughter of Joseph Garret and Sarah Jane [Miller] Stancliff born McKean, Erie County, PA Feb. 22, 1874,(1) died Edinboro, Erie County, PA Dec.10, 1910, married Edinboro, Erie County, PA Aug. 2, 1898 NED H. GOODALE son of George Seymour and Nancy Elizabeth [Gleeton] Goodale born Edinboro, Erie County, PA Jun. 30, 1872, died there Dec. 18, 1952.
Ned Goodale served as executor on the estate of Mary's brother, Wayne Garret Stancliff. Mary died a few months after her daughter Constance Marion was born. Ned married again in 1913 to Miriam Elizabeth Swift and lived 1920 on Waterford Street, Edinboro Borough, Erie County, PA. Ned Goodell was living in 1920 on Waterford Street in Edinboro, PA and listed as a Mail Carrier(2).

1. GEORGE STANCLIFF GOODALE born Edinboro, Erie County, PA Jul. 5, 1900, died Williamsport, Lycoming County, PA Oct. 19, 1969, married probably at Hartford, Hartford County, CT HELEN HOPE BELINDA born Jun. 12, 1904. After George's death she married again to Professor Harry Reber and lived 1984 in Orlando, Orange County, FL.
In 1920 he was a school teacher at Edinboro, PA with the Public School system. He shared a house with Archibald Hiram Hanson and wife, and Rose Belle Stancliff daughter of Wayne Garret and Rose Belle [Hanson] Stancliff(3) Rose Belle was also a teacher. He later moved to Athol, Worcester County, MA where he was a school principal.
2. SARAH GENEVIEVE GOODALE born Edinboro, Erie County, PA May 2, 1907, died Jan. 1908.
3. CONSTANCE MARION GOODALE born Edinboro, Erie County, PA Sept. 12, 1910, married Meadville, Crawford County, PA Oct. 11, 1937 PAUL BRANT son of Joseph and Belle [Pottinger] Brant born McKeesport, Allegheny County, PA Dec. 9, 1913. She lived in Meadville, Crawford County, PA, but by 1984 was residing in Exeter, Rockingham County, NH.
