ISAAC KARKER
Born New York 1815, married 1. ELIZA M. ______ born NY 1818, probably died between 1860 and 1864 She had 11 children and appeared in the 1860 Census Records. He married 2. CATHERINE _______ born NY 1825 and appears in the 1870 Census. He was a farmer in the Town of Seward, Seward Township, Schoharie County, NY, living in a German community and with a number of other members of the Karker/Kerger family. His ancestor, John Philip Karker, was one of the first settlers of Carlisle, Schoharie County, NY. He came to this area about 1760 from Germany(1), and lived in NY within a German community located in North Central Schoharie County.

1. GEORGE F. KARKER born 1837, married ELIZABETH ____ born NY 1842. He was with father's family in the 1860 Census. In 1880 he had five children and lived Wright, Schoharie County, NY(3)
2. ANDREW KARKER born 1839. He was with father's family in the 1860 Census.
3. CHARLES KARKER born 1841, married MARY E. ____ born NY 1844. He was with father's family in the 1860 Census. In 1880 he was living Seward with five children.(4)
4. LEIGHTON KARKER born 1843, with family in the 1860 and 1870 Census
5. REBECCA KARKER born 1844, with family in the 1860 Census.
6. HENRY KARKER born 1846, with family in the 1860 Census.
7. CAROLINE KARKER born 1848, with family in the 1860 Census.
8. EMMA KARKER born 1850, with family in the 1860 Census.
9. WALTER KARKER born 1853, with family in the 1860 Census.
10. CATHERINE KARKER "Kate" born 1856, married CHARLES E. ROCKEFELLER and lived 1898 in Albany, Albany County, NY. Her sister, Maggie Karker, and Albert Stancliff were married at their home. With family in 1860 and 1870 census.
11. BELLE KARKER born 1858, with family in 1860 and 1870 census.

12. JAY KARKER born 1865, with family in 1870 census.
13. MARGARET ELIZA KARKER born May 17, 1866, died Mar. 9, 1941, buried Laureland Cemetery, Dallas TX, married LEWIS ALBERT STANCLIFF son of Perry and Martha Caroline [Davis] Stancliff. With family in 1870 Census.
14. ANNA KARKER born 1869. With family in the 1870 Census
