Daughter of Solomon and Abigail [Thomas] Stanclift born Halifax, Windham County, VT Nov. 22, 1804(1), died Barkhamsted, Litchfield County, CT(2), married her cousin ABNER SLADE JUNIOR son of Abner and Olive [Stanclift] Slade.born CT 1798, died Barkhamsted, Litchfield County, CT April 26, 1888 � 91(3).

They lived Barkhamsted, Litchfield County, CT in an area known as Hitchcockville. This was the same community in which her nephew, James Mandron Stanclift, lived. In 1860 Fanny and Abner with children, Albert, Calvin and Elisha also had in their household Fanny Tiffany, who was probably Fanny [Slade] Tiffany and a sister of Abner Slade Jr. They lived next to homes of Lyman and Chester Slade who were brothers of Abner(4).
