Daughter of Seth and Abigail [McIntyre] Stancliff born McKean, Erie County, PA Jan. 27, 1827, died Erie County, PA Mar. 23, 1930, married Erie County, PA by Rev. R. S. Smith Sept. 10, 1850 SPENCER F. STAFFORD(1) born McKean, Erie County, PA Jan. 14, 1823, died there Jun. 11, 1901(2). He was the son of one of these brothers, either Job and Phebe [Arthur] Stafford or Stutley and Frances [____] Stafford.
They lived McKean in 1850 and Spencer was listed as a Carpenter(3). In 1860 they were still in McKean and at this date Stutely Stafford lived between Spencer Stafford and Seth Stanclift(4).
CHILDREN: Spencer F. and Ellen [Stancliff] Stafford
1. PORTER C. STAFFORD born McKean, Erie County, PA Nov. 30, 1864, died there Apr. 6, 1922, married McKean, Erie County, PA Jul. 30, 1896 JESSIE MAUDE SULLIVAN born Erie County, PA Mar. 9, 1873, died there Nov. 24, 1940 and had at least one child, Gertrude, who married Newman Edwin Brown.
