FRANK LESLIE TALMADGE FAMILY

(358) LUCY6 EVANGELINE STANCLIFT "Eva" (David5, Lemuel4, Comfort3, James2, James1)

Daughter of David and Lovina A. [Stancliff] Stanclift born McKean, Erie County, PA Oct. 23, 1852, married McKean, Erie County, PA Dec. 10, 1873 by Rev. J. O. Osborn FRANK LESLIE TALMADGE born PA Feb. 12, 1853, son of Stephen K. and Sally [Guilford] Talmadge.

Frank was designated as Executor on David's will in 1902, but was no longer living in 1910(1). The family appeared in the 1900 Census and it noted that Eva had born 4 children all living that date(2).

When Eva's father, David, made out his will in 1902, he left the Stancliff homestead to Evangeline with provisions for his granddaughter, Lora E. Gould, to have a house and lot in Middleboro. When David died in 1905 Lemuel Stancliff's farm became Eva's property. In 1910 Eva was a widow engaged in farming, her daughter Ruth was living with her and her son Bailey and his family was sharing the house with them(3).

CHILDREN: Frank Leslie and Lucy Evangeline [Stanclift] Talmadge

1. BAILEY S. TALMADGE born Nov. 17, 1876, married 1900 FLAVIA MAYNARD daughter of Benjamin Maynard. He lived in 1910 on the old Stanclift homestead, sharing the house with his mother and sister, Ruth. Benjamin Maynard also in their household.

2. IDA GRACE TALMADGE born July 4, 1879, married 1900 FRANK McLAUGHLIN. In 1910 living next door to the Stanclift, now Tallmadge, farm.

3. NELLIE MAY TALMADGE born May 27, 1883

4. RUTH S. TALMADGE born Sept. 26, 1888. She lived 1910 with her mother.
