Daughter of James and Esther Lucinda [Wilcox] Stancliff born Jan. 13, 1831, died Apr. 20, 1905, buried West Guilford, Windham County, VT, married Marlborough, Windham County, VT Jun(2). 18, 1850 JAMES WILLARD born Feb. 2, 1919, died Jan. 25, 1898, buried West Guilford, VT, son of James and Esther [Lynde] Willard and brother of Abigail [Willard] Stancliff, wife of Col. Solomon Stancliff. They lived on a farm in Halifax, Windham County, VT, some of their children moved to Bernardstown and Greenfield, MA.
There is no record of Harriet or her mother going to Connecticut with her father and the rest of the family, perhaps she remained in Vermont with relatives or if she went to Connecticut, she returned to visit relatives and remained.

3. ALICE ELORA WILLARD born Halifax, Windham County, VT May 31, 1854, married Nov. 13, 1859 HENRY LESLIE HOUGHTON and lived at Centralia, Lewis County, WA.
4. DANIEL CLIFFORD WILLARD born Halifax, Windham County, VT Apr. 24, 1856, died Apr. 25, 1930, buried Bernardstown, MA, married ELLEN M. HOWE.
5. IRA ALONSON WILLARD born Halifax, Windham County, VT July 7, 1862, died Montague, Franklin County, MA Jun. 14, 1927, buried Northfield, Franklin County, MA, married Worcester, Worcester County, MA Oct. 9, 1889 EVA MIRIAM SPOONER born 1870, daughter of Almon and Laura [Loomis] Spooner.
6. VESTA ABIGAIL WILLARD born Halifax, Windham County, VT Apr. 15, 1865, died Jul. 3, 1934, married HOSEA FISHER.
7. IVAN ERWIN WILLARD born Halifax, Windham County, VT Jul. 19, 1872, married at Greenfield, Franklin County, MA July 19, 1892 or Nov. 30, 1895 CLARA B. HOUGHTON born Walpole, Cheshire County, NH daughter of Henry and Abbie [Derby] Houghton.
