OBITUARY OF MISS LEDA FOSTER
Leda Foster, daughter of Elia and Martha Jeanette Clark Foster, was born May 18, 1860,at Kenosha, Wisconsin.
When she was five years old, the family moved to Roberts, Illinois, which has since been her home.
For many years, she was a teacher in the grade schools in Ford County.
During her life long membership in Roberts Congregational Church, she was active in all it's departments, especially the music and Ladie's Aid, as long as her health permitted.
She passed away at Lyons Nursing Home in Melvin, Illinois, Wednesday morning, April 26th, 1950.
Had she lived until May 18th, she would have been 90 years old.
Her parents, brothers and sisters preceed her in death.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services

Funeral services were held at Roberts Congregational Church, Friday afternoon at three o'clock, Rev. Dean dalrymple officiating.
Mrs. Marvin Fritchley and Mrs. Geroge Harrison sang two duets: "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," and "In The Garden". They were accompanied by Mrs. J. A. Colteaux at the piano.
Pallbearers were: L. E. Yackee, John Kristofferson, Vernon Woodruff, david Woolsoneroft, Eugene schuler, and C. W. Kennedy.
Mrs. L. E. Yackee, Mrs. John Kristofferson, Mrs. C.E. Van Nice, Mrs. Eugene Schuler, and Mrs. Eugene Davis were in charge of the flowers.
Burial was in Lyman Cemetery.
