Miscellaneous tags for TMG
I created these for people on TMG-L and thought I would put them here so I wouldn't have to type them all again. <G>  Created by Teresa Ghee Elliott

Juror Sentence:  [R:Juror] was appointed to jury duty in the case of [R:Prosecution] vs [R:Defendant] <[D]> <[L]>. <[M]>

Jurors Sentence:  [R:Jurors] was appointed to jury duty in the case of [R:Prosecution] vs [R:Defendant] <[D]> <[L]>. <[M]>

Prosecution Sentence: [R:Prosecution] tried to prosecute [R:Defendant] <[D]> <
[L]>. <[R:Juror] was a juror].><  [R:Jurors] were jurors.>  <[M]>

Defendant Sentence: [R:Defendant] was prosecuted by [R:Prosecution] <[D]> <[L]
>. <[R:Juror] was a juror].><  [R:Jurors] were jurors.>  <[M]>

JURY TAG
ROLES Juror, Jurors, Prosecution, Defendant
Use this one when someone petitions to have a new town created.  Yes, this does still happen. PETITION.
[R:Petitioner] petitioned for a new town to be created <[D]> <[L]>. <[M]>

TAG: TRANSPORTATION

ROLES: Transported (for individuals traveling alone), Multi-Transported (for individuals traveling in a group) and  Sea Captain (the Captain of the boat)

PLACE:  I would use the place style Boat with the output template:

 on the <[Boat]> leaving the harbor of <[City], ><[County], ><[State], ><[Country],><[Postal], ><[Phone], ><[LatLong],><[Temple]>

SENTENCES
[R:Transported] was transported by [R:Sea Captain] < [L]> <[D]>. <[M]>

[R:Multi-Transported]  was transported by [R:Sea Captain] <[D]> <[L]>. <[M]>

[R:Sea Captain] was the captain < [L]> <[D]>. <[R:Transported] was a passenger.> <[R:Multi-Transported] were passengers.> <[M]>
Notice I put the Boat in the place name and the destination in the memo.

This tag can be used for people who paid their passage to another country.  Notice that the ship they traveled on is part of the place.

In DETAIL 2, I put the boat name.  CITY is the city that the harbor was located in.

I also created a tag called DEED-CAN. When doing my tax lists, if Bob Jones had 200 acres of land in 1819, and 250 acres in 1820, I will create a DEED-CAN tag and put "He had an increase of 50 acres of land" in the memo.

The Deed-CAN sentence for Possible Grantee is [:CR:][:TAB:]As shown in  tax records, it is possible that [R:Possible Grantee] bought land <[D]> <[L]>. <[M]>

Possible Grantor Sentence:  [:CR:][:TAB:]As shown in  tax records, it is possible that [R:Possible Grantor] sold land <[D]> <[L]>. <[M]>
So for Bob Jones I would have "As shown in tax records, it is possible that Bob Jones bought land between 1819 and 1820 Rutherford County, TN.  He had an increase of 50 acres of land"
This reminds me when I am looking at deed records, that he should have had one during that time period, and in the mean time alerts my reader that he probably had a deed during that time, and that I am aware of the possiblity.
Once I find the deed, I change the DEED-CAN tag to a Deed tag and proceed from there.
