TMG OBITUARY TAGS 

I use the name of the paper in the detail field of the place.  See below for that output template.  You are going to make Level 2 NEWSPAPER.  If you don't know how to do this, see Feb. 2003 issue of the RUG of VA for my article on Place Styles.

You will need to create three roles for this tag:  Survivor, Deceased, and Preceded in death.  

Memo field is for a transcription of the obituary.  

[:CR:][:TAB:][R:Deceased]'s obituary was in the newspaper <[D]> < [L]>.< [R:Survivor] were listed as survivors.>< [R:Preceded in death] preceded [RM:Deceased] in death.> <[M]>

Example of how it prints:

Bob Smith's obituary was in the newspaper 23 Jan 1900 in the Nashville Banner Newspaper printed in Nashville, Davidson County, TN.  Sally Smith and Becky Smith were listed as survivors.  Robert Smith preceded him in death.  The following is a transcription of that obituary.  [Long transcription] 

Sally Smith was listed in Bob Smith's obituary 23 Jan 1900 in the Nashville Banner printed in Nashville, Davidson County, TN as a survivor.

[:CR:][:TAB:] [R:Survivor] was listed in [R:Deceased]'s obituary <[D]>< [L]> as a survivor. <[M0]>

[:CR:][:TAB:][R:Preceded in death] died before [R:Deceased], and was mentioned in [RS:Deceased] obituary <[D]> < [L]>. <[M0]>

Robert Smith died before Bob Smith, and was mentioned in his obituary 23 Jan 1900 in the Nashville Banner printed in Nashville, Davidson County, TN.

Role:  Brother, etc. {There needs to be a role and sentence for each type of person listed above.  Note that there is a Role for both Brother and Brothers as well as duel roles for other types relatives.} Use the same sentence for each dual role.

Role:  Survivor. {This is used for unidentified survivors}
