are my output templates for places in the Master Place Style List.
The name of the place goes into detail 2. If you don't know how to
build these, please see my article in the February issue of the RUG of

It should be noted, that if you use these styles and you have the place printed in BOLD, the whole thing like "at First Baptist Church, Nashville, Davidson County, TN." So I am assuming
that it will also print that way in the indexes if you include the
place. Can't test this yet. I will also add that when setting these up you need to remember NOT to use actual place information in the output template, but in the place detail itself. For instance, Near Nashville, is very different from Nashville. So make sure you put the word Near into the field with the place name and not in the output template. Even though it will look okay in some reports, it may be lost in others, and that would change the meaning of your data. |
