Misc. Notes |
Andrew worked at the Mutton Mill on Shiloh road in Ontario, Canada.35 Andrew was not living with his mother and her husband in 1891.36 The "Moore" family name originated in Leicestershire, located in Ireland. This was documented and authenticated by our historians using the utmost reliable resources37 Andrew served three years in the 40th regiment at some unknown time, presumably in the 1890's. He and his son, Earl later joine the Canadian Over-Seas Expeditionary Force. They both signed up for the 139th battalion in Cobourg on January 29, 1916. 31 |
