This branch of the tree begins in Ipswich, Massachusetts around 1638 with the REGINALD FOSTER (Reynold Foster) family and through his sons their descendants.There is no record of his arrival or which ship he and his family came on. He did serve as a town officer on several occasions and records indicate that he and his family had established themselves in Ipswich by 26 Sept. 1638
