MR. G. F. GOSNEY.
Death of Prominent Crewkerne Townsman.
Mr. George F. GOSNEY, a prominent Crewkerne townsman, died at his residence in Easthams-road on Saturday, aged 64. He was a man of many attainments, and for 21 years had been secretary of the National Association of Wholesale Creamery Proprietors of Great Britain.
Mr. GOSNEY was a zealous churchworker in Crewkerne, and had held the offices of churchwarden, sidesman, and lay reader. He helped to form the Crewkerne Bowling Club, and had been a playing member since 1911. He had played also for Somerset.
A prominent Freemason, Mr. GOSNEY was a Past Master of the Parrett and Axe Lodge, Crewkerne, and P.P.G. Std. Bearer of Somerset. He was also a Founder and Part First Principal of the “Parrett and Axe” Chapter of Royal Arch Masons and P.P.A.G.D.C. of Somerset.
