THE LATE MR. BARRALL, OF SALTERTON.

The funeral of the late Mr. Thomas BARRALL, of Fernie Knowe, Budleigh Salterton, took place at Stoodleigh. The deceased, who was greatly respected in Salterton, passed away on Wenesday after a lingering illness. He was the eldest son of the late Mr. W. BARRALL, of Stoodleigh, and has resided in Salterton for the past eight years. The cortege left Salterton at half-past eight for Stoodleigh, via Tiverton, where horses were changed. Beautiful wreaths were sent by Mrs. BARRALL (widow) Mr. and Mrs. W. BARRALL, Mr. and Mrs. J. BARRALL, Mr. and Mrs. QUICK, Mr. and Mrs. VEYSEY, Mrs. ROOKLEY, Mr. and Mrs. J. OLIVER and family, Mr. J. OLIVER, Mr. and Mrs. ROTHERHAM, Mr. and Mrs. Radford ROWE, Mr. and Mrs. Culine DALE, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver LEGG, Mr. and Mrs. CUMMIN, Irene, Joan, and Carl COMMIN, Mr. and Mrs. MARSHALL, Misses THWAITE, Miss BOWLES Mr. and Mrs. SMALE, Mr. and Mrs. HOOKER Mr. and Mrs. YATES, and others. The mourners were Mrs. BARRALL (widow), Messrs. W. and J. BARRALL (sons), Messrs. Fred, Frank, John, and J. BARRALL (nephews), Mrs. QUICK and Mrs. VEYSEY (sisters), Mr. QUICK, Mr. VEYSEY, Mr. GOODMAN, and Miss ROOKLEY. The coffin, of oak, with brass fittings, bore the following inscription:- “Thomas BARRALL. Died May 1st, 1907, aged 56 years.” The Vicar of Stoodleigh (the Rev. R. RUSSELL) officiated.
