Mr. C. CREES and Miss N. L. H. MORGAN.

The marriage of Miss Norah Lydia Helena MORGAN, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward W. MORGAN, of “Quetta,” Higher King's Avenue, Pennyslvania, Exeter, to Mr. Colin CREES, younger son of Mrs. Lucy CREES and the late Mr. W. C. CREES, of Brook-House, Whipton, was solemnised at All Saints Church, Whipton, on Saturday. The bride is a nurse on the private staff of the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, and was formerly a teacher at Whipton Sunday School. The bridegroom is a member of Friernhay Football Club, and has belonged to the Whipton Church choir for several years.

Rev. W. Hammond CROFT (Vicar) officiated, and Mrs. PAPPIN was at the organ.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a lovely gown of French blue silk crepe. The softly-draped bodice fitted into a deep-corseted waistline, which, with the short sleeves, was appliqued with flowers of the same material, while the full skirt fell from gathers above the hips.

Her stitched hat of the same material was in halo style, and trimmed with navy veiling, and she carried a sheaf of pink Sylvia roses and white heather. She also wore a pearl and diamond drop necklet (the gift of the bridegroom).

The only bridesmaid was Miss Joyce Maud TOLLEY, whose frock was of petunia silk crepe. The fullness below the high neckline and the hips was gathered into the front panel, which was cut in one with the wide inset waistband. Her headdress was of pink carnations, and she carried a bouquet of pink carnations and fern.

A dress ring was her gift from the bridegroom, who was accompanied by his brother, Mr. William CREES, as best man.

About forty guests were present at the reception at Colson's Restaurant, High-street, Exeter. Mrs. MORGAN was wearing a graceful full-length gown of silver embroidered brocade in grape juice colour, with a short fitting jacket of the same material. Her small matching felt hat was trimmed with velvet, and the ensemble was completed with a Havana fox fur, and a corsage spray of mauve Cattleya orchids. Mrs. CREES (mother of the bridegroom) chose a saxe blue gown with a matching coat, a hat to tone, and a spray of pink carnations.

Later, Mr. and Mrs. Colin CREES left for Torquay for their honeymoon. The bride travelled in a cardigan suit of pervenche blue angora, the belted hip-length coat embroidered with flowers of the same shade, and the skirt made with four inverted pleats. Wine coloured velvet trimmed her pervenche blue felt hat, and she had a wine jumper and accessories to tone.

The bride's wedding ensemble and that of the bridesmaid was by Messrs. COLSON's, High-street, Exeter. The City Florist, 21, Queen-street, Exeter, was responsible for the bouquets of the bride and bridesmaid and the buttonholes of the guests.
