OBITUARY


Mrs. W. C. DOBLE, Luppitt.

The funeral took place at St. Mary's Church, Luppitt, on Friday, of Mrs. Winifred Coles DOBLE, wife of Mr. Edgar DOBLE, of Higher Blannicombe Farm, Honiton, only daughter of Mr. and the late Mrs. Walter WRIGHT, of Luppitt, after a short illness, at the age of 46. The deceased, who was well-known, was a member of the choir and school teacher at Luppitt for a number of years; her bright and cheerful disposition won her a large circle of friends.

Rev. B. A. FINN officiated, and Miss SIMPSON was at the organ. The mourners were: Husband and son, Mr. WRIGHT (father), Mrs. DOBLE (mother-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. H. The coffin of unpolished oak with brass fittings bore the inscription: “Winifred Coles DOBLE, died Dec. 1, 1941, aged 46 years.” The interment took place in a grave near that of her mother, who died a few years ago.
