Pictured here is Cpl. Ronald MONTANDON, R.A.M.C., who has been awarded the Bronze Star Medal for heroic achievements in connection with military operations against the enemy in Monte Sporduxe, Italy, on Oct. 22, 1944. The presentation was made by Gen. Mark CLARK in Vienna on Sept. 21.
Cpl. MONTANDON is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. MONTANDON, of 6, Friars Gate, Exeter. He volunteered for service with the Army on the outbreak of war, having been employed for some time by G.W.R.
