DAMAGING A PLANTATION.
Mary Ann ROOKLEY, the wife of a labourer, living at Blackborough, was summoned for wilfully damaging a plantation at Uffculme, the property of the trustees of the late John GARNSEY. - Police Constable DODDS proved seeing defendant pulling down by the aid of a crook the branches of the trees in the plantation in question. A good deal of damage was done in this way. - Defendant was fined 12s including costs.
