STOODLEIGH
The funeral took place at Stoodleigh on Sunday of Mr. Thomas BARRELL, a native of the parish, who was formerly employed by Miss HEATHCOAT at Bolham. For some years past he has had a large boarding-house at Budleigh where he was held in the highest esteem. The mourners present were the widow, Messrs. William and John BARRELL (brothers), the Misses Polly and Lydia BARRELL (sisters), Messrs. Frank, Jack and Fred BARRELL (nephews), Messrs. W. QUICK and J. VEYSEY (brothers-in-law), Mrs. GOODMAN, Mr. J. BARRELL, and Miss S. ROOKLEY (sisters-in-law). Numerous wreaths were sent.
