Mr. W. V. HOY has been appointed Assistant Overseer and Clerk to the Parish Council, in place of Mrs. TROTT (resigned).
Members and friends of the Sainthill Chapel Sunday School had a most enjoyable outing to Teignmouth by motor char-a-banc on Tuesday.
Kentisbeare Church Choir had a splendid outing by motor char-a-banc to Sidmouth on Wednesday.
In connection with Sainthill Chapel, £63 was raised by a most successful bazaar, tea, and entertainment, which was held on Thursday last, in aid of the Chapel Renovation Fund. Among the stallholders and helpers were: Mesdames J. and H. COTTRELL, HILLACRE, STEVENS, WRIGHT, REED, and ROOKLEY, the Misses SANDERS (2), HILLACRE, BAKER, and TRUMAN.
