Trewman's Exeter Flying-Post. 04 Sep 1845
CORONER' INQUESTS. - On the 28th ult., at Kentisbeare, on the body of Moses ROOKLEY, who came by his death in consequence of the roof of a scythe stone pit, in which he was a work, falling in upon him. His daughter was at the same time buried with him, but got out alive. The deceased was in an upright position when found, and a verdict of “Accidental Death” returned.
