ACCIDENT. - On Monday evening laat <sic>, as James ROOKLEY a confidential servant in the employ of Mr. T. FORD, at the Swan Inn, was going to the pump for water, his foot slipped on some ice, and he fell to the ground in an helpless state; he was immediately removed to his home, and medical aid obtained, when it was ascertained he had received a compound fracture of the knee. He is at present in a very distressing state.
