FIVEHEAD AND WRANTAGE, SOMERSET TO BE SOLD BY AUTION, BY MR. MORRIS, at the FOXHOUND INN, Fivehead, on Friday, August 30, 1878, at Five for Six o'clock in the Evening precisely, subject to such conditions as will be produced, and in the following or such other lots as may then be determined, the undermentioned DWELLING-HOUSES, LANDS and PREMISES, situate in the parish of Fivehead, and at Wrantage, in the parish of North Curry, viz. :-

LOT 1. - All that COTTAGE (now occupied as two tenements), with the gardens thereto belonging, containing together by admeasurement 1r. 16p. (more or less), situate in Green-lane, within the parish of Fivehead, and Nod. 311 on the tithe map and apportionment of the said parish, and now in the occupation of Jehu GARLAND and Agnes MUNCKTON.

LOT 2. - All that DWELLING-HOUSE, with the garden and productive young orchard adjoining, containing by admeasurement 2r. 36p. (more or less), situate near the Foxhound Inn, in the parish of Fivehead, and Nod. 73 on the said map an apportionment, and now in the occupation of Mr. HARVARD, and his under-tenant George PAULL.

LOT 3. - All those two pieces or parcels of PASTURE and ARABLE LAND, situate in Sedgemoor, in the said parish of Fivehead, Nod. Respectively 154 and 155 on the said map and apportionment, and containing together by admeasurement 16a. 3r. 15p., and now in the occupation of Mr William LOCK, the owner.

This lot adjoins lands of the Rev. William PYNE, Messrs. John and Frederick SALWAY and Mr. Charles GLYDE, and if not sold as above will be offered in two lots.

LOT 4. - All that piece or parcel of ARABLE LAND, called “West Field,” containing by admeasurement 3a. 3r. 17p. (more or less), situate in the said parish of Fivehead, Nod. 72 and 72a on the said map and apportionment, and now in the possession of Mr. William STUCKEY, the owner.

This lot abuts on the turnpike-road, near the Foxhound Inn, and adjoins lands of Mr. HARVARD.

LOT 5. - All that piece of ARABLE LAND, called “Knotts,” containing by admeasurement 4a. 0r. 38p. (more or less), situate at Wrantage, in the parish of North Curry, and Nod. 867 and 868 on the map and apportionment of the said parish of North Curry, and now in the possession of the said Mr. STUCKEY.

This lot adjoins lands of Mr. John SPILLER.

Lot 1 is held for the residue of a term of 5,000 years, which commenced on or about the 12th of July, 1820, and the remaining lots are freehold.

Possession of lots, 3, 4, and 5 may be had at Michaelmas next.

The above are valuable accommodation-lands, offering to the adjoining proprietors and to capitalists advantageous opportunities for investments or occupation.

To view lots 1 and 2 apply to the tenants; lot 3 to Mr. William LOCK, Curry Rivel; and lots 4 and 5 to Mr. Wm. STUCKEY, Fivehead; and for further particulars to the AUCTIONEER, at North Curry, or on Saturdays at his offices, 6, East-street, Taunton; or to Mr. LOUCH, Solicitor, Langport.

A portion of the purchase-money may remain on security of either lot (if required), or may be obtained of the Langport and Mid-Somerset Benefit Building Society for a fixed term of years, repayable by instalments.
