<section not transcribed>
MISS D. F. D. ASHTON and Mr. A. S. TALBOT
The wedding took place at St. Mary's Church, of Miss Doris F. D. ASHTON, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. R. ASHTON, of Lambrook-road, Taunton, and Mr. Arthur S. TALBOT, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. TALBOT, of Duke-street, Taunton. The bride, who wore a gown of pale pink satin, with veil and halo of rosebuds, carried a bouquet of red carnations. She was given away by her father. The bridesmaids were Miss BLACKMORE (a cousin of the bride), Miss LEGG, Miss Betty TALBOT, and Miss Winifred PERRY.
The “best man” was Mr. Stanley TALBOT, the bridegroom's brother. The service was choral. Afterwards a reception was held in the Oddfellow's Hall, Winchester-street.
