CURRY RIVEL.

CHURCH WORKERS' OUTING. - Workers of the Parish Church, including the choir, bellringers, sidesmen, &c., held their annual outing on Tuesday to Weymouth. The journey was made by motor coach, and an enjoyable day was spent. The Vicar accompanied the party.


WEDDING OF MR. H. RICHARDS & MISS D. MALE

The wedding took place on Saturday at the Parish Church of Mr. Henry RICHARDS, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Sydney RICHARDS, of “The Green,” Curry Rivel, and Miss Daisy Hilda MALE, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. MALE, Ilton.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a blue marocain dress, with hat to match, and carried a bouquet of carnations. She was attended by three bridesmaids, Miss O. RICHARDS (sister of the bridegroom), Miss R. COX (niece of the bridegroom) and Miss M. MALE (niece of the bride). They wore salmon pink dresses with flower haloes. The “best man” was Mr. L. MALE (brother of the bride). The Rev. J. H. T. MAUDE-ROXBY (vicar) officiated.
A reception was held in the Old School-room and 50 guests were entertained.

The bride and bridegroom were the recipients of over 60 presents, including pearls from the bride's late employer (Mr. H. B. FINCH, Curry Rivel), and a bedspread and eiderdown from Mrs. FINCH.
