NORTH CURRY

LABOURER BOUND OVER

At Taunton County Sessions on Saturday, Harry MILLER, labourer, Lillesdon-terrace, North Curry, was bound over for 12 months and ordered to pay 14s costs, on a charge of stealing growing kale and swede greens, value 10s. belonging to Bernard Samuel HEBDITCH, farmer, Lillesdon Court, Wrantage.

The case had been adjourned form the previous Court for MILLER to attend, and he now explained that his absence was due to an injured foot. He disputed the value of the greens, and added that he had had a little drop of liquor at the time, having friends home on leave from the Services.
Mr F. W. WILLMOTT, representing Mr. HEBDITCH, said his only object was to stop trespass.
