WHITELACKINGTON

LATE MRS. ALMA MALE

The death occurred at her home at Atherstone of Mrs. Alma MALE, aged 78. Widow of Mr. William J. MALE, who died five months ago, she was a native of Shepton Beauchamp and had lived all her life in the neighbourhood. She leaves three sons and five daughters.

The funeral took place at Whitelackington, the Vicar (Rev. G. G. HICKMAN) officiating. Chief mourners were: Mrs. E. LAWRENCE, Mr. F. MALE, Mrs. F. ROCKETT, Mr. B. MALE, Mrs. E. PIKE, Mrs. A. MARSHALSEA, Miss F. MALE (sons and daughters), Mrs. E. POND (sister), Mrs. F. MALE, Mr. J. LAWRENCE, Mrs. B. MALE, Mr. F. ROCKETT, Mr E. PIKE, Mr. A. MARSHALSEA, Mr. W. ATWELL (sons-in-law and daughters-in-law), Mrs. A. WEEK, Mr. J. MARSHALSEA, Miss J. MARSHALSEA, Mr. Roy MALE, Miss Rose MALE (grandchildren). Others present included Mrs. JEFFERY, Mrs. E. COX, Mrs. R. MALE and Mrs. DARKE. There were numerous floral tributes.
