HILLFARRANCE


LATE MRS. M. A. JUNIPER


Mrs. Mary Anna JUNIPER died on Saturday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Albert BUTTLE, of Laburnum Cottage, Hillfarrance. Mrs. JUNIPER, who was 69, was a native of the village, being a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwin LOVELL. Mr. and Mrs. JUNIPER had resided at Orsett-Heath, Essex, for many years, and it was while visiting her sister at Hillfarrance, last March that she was taken ill. She was unable to return home and her health gradually deteriorated. Much sympathy is extended to her husband and relatives in their sad loss.


The funeral, on Thursday afternoon, at Hillfarrance Parish Church, was conducted by the Vicar, the Rev. H. R. DAVIES, Miss CROCKER presided at the organ and the service included the 23rd Psalm, “Jesu Lover of my Soul” and “Abide with me.”


Principal mourners were:- Mr. J. JUNIPER (husband), Mr. S. LOVELL, Mr. A. LOVELL (brothers), Mrs. E. STANTON, Mrs. A. BUTTLE, Mrs. A. BOLTWOOD, Mrs. W. SHUTTLER, Miss S. LOVELL (sisters), Mr. A. BUTTLE (brother-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. R. GILES, Mrs. J. ASH, Mr. and Mrs. S. LOCKYER, Mr. and Mrs. J. CREWS, Mr. C. GILES, Miss V. LOVELL, Miss A. LOVELL (nephew and nieces), Mr. Frank LOVELL (brother), was unable to attend.


Friends present included Mrs. F. RICHARDS, Mrs. FOTHERGILL, Mrs. ALLERCOTT and the Misses CROCKER.


There were many beautiful floral tributes.


The funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mr. Leonard E. SMITH, of Haydon-road, Taunton.
