LATE MR. H. CALLOWAY.


The funeral took place on Monday of Mr. Harry CALLOWAY, aged 45, of 73, Cyril-street West, Taunton. Mr. CALLOWAY was a travelling ticket collector on the Great Western Railway. He joined the Company 24 years ago as a porter. He was for several years a member of the St. John Ambulance. The death occurred on Wednesday of last week.

The Rev. W. H. JENNING officiated at the service at St. John's Church, which preceded the interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.

The family mourners were:- Mrs. H. CALLOWAY (widow), Mr. W. R. CALLOWAY (son), Miss E. CALLOWAY (sister). Mr. and Mrs. C. R. CALLOWAY, Mrs. R. FURZE (mother-in-law), Mrs. R. CHAPMAN (aunt), Mr. A. FURZE (brother-in-law), Mrs. W. J. CALLOWAY (mother), Mr. R. FURZE (father-in-law) was unable to attend owing to illness.

Messrs. F. MEX, R, WADHAM, W. BRYER, A. TURNER, J. GOLDSWORTHY, and R. BENDING, colleagues of Mr. CALLOWAY, acted as bearers, and among others of his associates who attended were Messrs. T. KINGDOM, J. WEBBER, H. SHAPLAND, L. TOWNSEND, C. KENNER, and F. SMALLRIDGE.

The funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mr. Leonard E. SMITH, Haydon-road, Taunton.
