FIVEHEAD

FUNERAL. -The funeral of the late Mr. Heman Salway, took place on Friday afternoon of last week. Prior to the interment there was a short service at the Baptist Church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. J. Day. The hymns sung at the service were " Give me the wings of Faith" and "For ever with the Lord." The family mourners present were Messrs. Leonard, Samuel and Sidney Salway, sons; the Misses Emily and Nellie Salway, daughters; Mr. H. Salway, of Curry Rivel, brother; Mrs. Coate and Mrs. Parsons and Mr. Fred Dinham, nieces and nephew; and Mrs. S. Salway and Samuel Salway, daughters-in-law. Among those present were Mr. Howard Chedzoy and Mr. Herbert Chedzoy, deacons of the church; Capt. C. A. Key Matterson, Mr. W. A. Key Matterson, Mr. J. F. Slade, Mr. J. M. Milton, Mr. S. J. Perry, Mr. T. Bicknell, Mr. T. Derrick, Mr. Dare (Ilton), and Mr. Dare (Stowey). The teachers of the Sunday School also attended. The bearers were Messrs. G. Adams, F. Derrick, Fred Miller and Frank Miller. The funeral arrangements were satisfactorily carried out by Mr. H. J. Tapp, of Isle Abbotts, who also supplied the coffin.
