SHEPTON BEAUCHAMP.

The Deputy-Coroner for West Somerset (Mr. C. E. HAGON held an inquest at the Travellers' Rest, Bridgewater, on Wednesday, touching the death of Levi MALE, a timber-thrower, of Shepton Beauchamp. From the evidence given, it appeared that the deceased, who was in the employ of Mr. BOWERMAN, of Bridgwater, was engaged in chopping the limb of a tree with an axe at a wood near Broomfield, when the limb sprang, throwing him into the air. Deceased fell on his head, breaking his neck. A verdict of “Accidental death” was returned by the jury.
