FIVEHEAD


THE APPOINTED DAY OF PRAYER for Sunday-schools was observed in this district on the 17th, the Rev. E. CURTIS, of Hatch Beauchamp, preaching at Isle Abbotts and Stoke St. Gregory, Rev. J. COMPSTON at Hatch, Rev. J. BURNHAM, of London, at Fivehead, and Mr. MARKS, of Boroughbridge, at North Curry (Rev. W. FRY's). During the following week, evangelistic services were held at Fivehead and Isle Abbotts, conducted by Rev. J. COMPSTON, the Rev. H. MOORE, of Bridgwater, giving a series of fine Gospel addresses, from which it is believed great good will sping. A special service for the young was conducted by Rev. J. COMPSTON, at Fivehead, on Sunday afternoon.
