STOWER PROVOST.

MARRIAGE OF MR. W. E. TUPMAN AND MISS A. FOURACRE. - At St. Michael's Church on Saturday Mr. William Edward TUPMAN, late of Gillingham, and now residing at Osterley Park, Isleworth, was married to Miss Ada FOURACRE, second daughter of Mr. R. FOURACRE, of Lyde Hill Farm, Stower Provost. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attended by Miss Kate FOURACRE (sister) and Miss Vera AYLES (niece) as bridesmaids. Mr. Stanley TUPMAN (brother of the bridegroom) acted as “best man.” The bride's dress was of lemon crepe de chine, with lace veil and orange blossoms, and she carried a bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums. The bridesmaids' dresses were of shot taffeta and lemon crepe de chine. The ceremony was performed by the Rector (the Rev. E. Capel CURE), and the church was still wearing the Christmas decorations. The service was partly choral, and the organist, Miss Ida INKPEN, of Burton Bradstock (a friend of the bride), played Mendelssohn's “Wedding March” as the bride and bridegroom left the church. A large number of people witnesses the ceremony. The bride and bridegroom were the recipients of many presents. Later in the day Mr. and Mrs. TUPMAN left for Bournemouth. The bride's going away dress was of blue crepe de chine, with kingfisher blue cloak and hat to match.
