Revd. Sir,

          I will esteem it a favour if you could furnish me with the birth certificate of Mrs Sarah Male – maiden name Doble – for the purpose of the old age pension act.  As far as I can gather she was born sometime during the year –37 <1837>

          Her parents informed her many years ago she was baptised at the Parish Church at Kingsbury Episcopi.

          If you are able to trace this through your registers I will feel very grateful and at the same time perhaps you will let me know your fee for the same
